Job Brief

We are hiring for a US Mortgage Tax Certification process, which involves a semi-voice role. Local governments in the United States impose property taxes on real estate or personal property. The primary responsibility of the Associate is to gather accurate tax information for properties and report it in a client-approved template. This includes emailing and/or calling tax offices, calculating delinquent amounts, assessing tax requirements, and initiating mail aways as needed.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Contact tax assessor’s/collector’s offices to obtain real estate property tax details.
  • Accurately enter the obtained information into the system.
  • Deliver a minimum of 35 completed tax certifications per day.
  • Manage and update the pipeline daily.
  • Prioritize and process orders based on criticality, ensuring delivery within defined TAT.
  • Support team ramp-up as per committed plans.
  • Perform end-to-end risk analysis of loan files.
  • Meet daily targets and adhere to all SLAs.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Graduate in any discipline.
  • Experience: 0–2 years (Freshers welcome).
  • Ability to understand delinquent amounts, assess tax requirements, and initiate mail aways.
  • Typing speed: Minimum 30 WPM with 90% accuracy.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to review own work for accuracy.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong problem-solving ability.
  • Flexibility to work in both day and night shifts.
  • Team player, adaptable to change, and able to handle pressure positively.
