Job Brief
We are looking for a Mortgage Trainer responsible for designing, developing, and delivering comprehensive training programs for new and existing mortgage staff. The primary focus is to ensure employees are well-versed in mortgage products, regulations, and processes. This role involves collaborating with various departments to identify training needs, create effective training materials, and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop training manuals, presentations, and other educational resources.
- Ensure training materials are up-to-date and relevant to learners’ needs.
- Conduct training sessions in various formats (classroom, virtual, hands-on).
- Foster an interactive and inclusive learning environment.
- Encourage participation and discussion among learners.
- Adjust training methods and materials based on learner feedback and performance.
- Provide additional support and resources for learners who require extra help.
- Continuously improve personal knowledge and skills through professional development.
- Analyze training outcomes to identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure all training programs comply with industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with other trainers, management, and stakeholders to align training programs with organizational goals.
- Adapt strategies to overcome obstacles and ensure successful learning outcomes.
Requirements
- Degree in business, banking, finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the mortgage industry, with a strong understanding of mortgage products, processes, and regulations.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficient in using training software and e-learning platforms.
- Ability to simplify complex information and convey it.
- Analytical skills to assess training effectiveness and make data-driven improvements.
- Successful completion of a Train-the-Trainer program.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in training, with a focus on conducting sessions for diverse groups.
- Patient and approachable, with a genuine interest in employee development.
- Proactive and adaptable, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
