Job Brief

We are looking for a Supervisor/Team Lead – Operations who will manage a team within US Mortgage Operations, requiring sound knowledge of the US mortgage cycle. The role involves ensuring proper documentation and data are delivered to investors accurately and on time, while also monitoring reports for pending conditions.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate and timely delivery of documentation and data to investors, monitoring for any pending conditions.
  • Oversee the team’s workflow, including task delegation, training, and providing performance feedback to management.
  • Act as a sponsor and facilitator for innovation and process improvements.
  • Assist with special projects as directed by management.
  • Create an inspiring team environment with open communication.
  • Set clear team goals and expectations.
  • Delegate tasks effectively and establish deadlines.
  • Oversee daily operations and ensure smooth workflow.
  • Monitor team performance and report on key metrics.
  • Motivate and support team members to achieve their best performance.
  • Identify training needs and provide coaching as necessary.
  • Address and resolve team members’ feedback, issues, or conflicts.

Requirements

  • Degree in business, banking, finance, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of proven experience as a team leader or supervisor.
  • Flexibility to work both day and night shifts.
  • Solid knowledge of and experience with industry technology tools, including but not limited to Fannie Mae Loan Delivery, Freddie Mac Loan Delivery, Government Loan Delivery, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to handle confidential material with professionalism and high ethical standards.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills to effectively prioritize tasks and meet volume goals.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Capable of managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
  • Strong mathematical skills and proficiency in using spreadsheets.
