Job Brief

Indecomm is looking to hire a Team Leader in the Processing & Closing function. This role requires the lead to have hands-on process knowledge in processing & closing.

Processing activities include loan onboarding, indexing, initial disclosures, third-party orders, and pre-qual/underwriting document submission. Closing activities include title fee negotiation, initial closing disclosures, and reviewing fees, taxes, insurance, and escrow collection. They have to be proficient at team handling, reporting, performing data analysis, and contributing towards process improvement initiatives.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Supervise production workflows and work queues.
  • Conduct refresher sessions for operation staff whenever necessary.
  • Provide floor support and regular feedback sessions, and help team members on a need-basis.
  • Perform weekly quality assessments of assigned analysts, provide timely feedback, and communicate any issues or concerns to the management.
  • Monitor volumes and adjust them based on traffic patterns.
  • Understand and update comments, and communicate with various stakeholders.
  • Create progressive disciplinary programs and development plans.
  • Identify and document entire loan packages for a complete file including the respective process requirements.
  • Maintain relevant reports as per the required standards.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of industry standards and guidelines.
  • Meet daily targets and all SLAs as communicated.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Management.


  • Graduate in any discipline with at least 5+ years of overall experience and 2+ years of team-handling experience.
  • Good knowledge of Processing/Closing Reviews for at least 2 years.
  • Prior experience in client interaction.
  • Well-versed in process documentation requirements.
  • Well-versed in fraud related to closing and compliance documentation and US federal and state regulations related to compliance.
  • Prior knowledge of basic ISO-level reporting requirements.
  • Eye for detail, reporting, problem-solving, handling escalations.
  • Excellent presentation skills, good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Competence at MS office applications.
  • Willingness to work in the night shift.
