Job Brief

We’re in search of a vibrant professional possessing extensive underwriting expertise from start to finish. The ideal candidate should showcase adeptness in managing training programs, crafting educational content, identifying training prospects, conducting Training Needs Analysis (TNA), and actively enhancing our operational processes.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Conduct refresher sessions for operational staff as needed.
  • Provide floor support and assist team members on an as-needed basis.
  • Conduct regular feedback sessions with trainee members to enhance performance.
  • Develop and maintain training documents and materials following institutional requirements.
  • Generate and maintain relevant reports to meet required standards.
  • Possess a thorough knowledge of industry standards and guidelines.
  • Identify and document process requirements.
  • Perform detailed underwriting analysis on all Mortgage loan products, including calculating various income types, and analyzing financial statements, appraisals, and title reports.
  • Ensure that all loan files adhere to portfolio and investor guidelines for marketability.
  • Thoroughly document underwriting exceptions.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of Mortgage Lending products, policies, processes, and required documentation for various products.
  • Adhere to all compliance regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Management.


  • Graduate in any discipline.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Well-versed with US federal and state regulations related to compliance.
  • Proficient in training documentation requirements.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in delivering effective training sessions.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Detail-oriented, with excellent reporting skills and the capability to handle escalations.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
  • Self-driven with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Competent with MS Office applications and excellent presentation skills.
  • Flexibility to work in both day and night shifts.
