Job Description:

In Tax Search/Certification process, property’s unique tax identification and tax information is to be meticulously located and populated into client’s system, Excel, Word Document & Note Pad to generate Tax Certificate.

Below mentioned are the basic Key Information required to create a Tax Certificate:

  • Parcel Number/Tax ID Number/Assessment Number/Lot and Block.
  • Total annual real estate tax amount.
  • Installment basis (Annual/Semi Annual/Quarterly, etc.).
  • Paid amount and paid date, Next installment due, Due dates and delinquent dates.
  • Any delinquent amounts, defaulted amounts, tax liens, tax sale.
  • Any additional taxes (i.e. city taxes, Special Assessment Bills).

Key Responsibility Areas

    • Tools and expertise to handle Different Tax Products from Regular Refinance Product, to Water & Sewer Product, and all the way to Purchase Product.
    • Working Knowledge of the US Tax Domain.
    • Well versed with State and Federal guidelines and requirements.
    • Assists Manager in employee evaluations and provides staff feedback to Manager.
    • Research and discover methods for improvement of service, and make detailed recommendations to management.
    • Workflow Management – Monitor workflow to ensure tasks are completed within timeliness standards which are driven SLA.
    • Perform weekly quality assessments of assigned analysts, provide timely feedback, and communicate any issues or concerns to management.
    • Monitors volumes and adjusts based on traffic patterns.
    • Create progressive disciplinary actions and development plans.
    • Maintain a thorough knowledge of industry standards and guidelines.
    • Meet daily targets & all SLAs as communicated.
    • Perform other duties as assigned by Management.

Must Have

    • Minimum of 3-4 years of team management/handling experience.
    • Eye for detail, reporting & problem solving.
    • Good Verbal and written communication skills.
    • Well versed with Frauds related to closing and compliance documentation.
    • Competent with MS office applications.
    • Well versed with US federal and state regulations related to compliance.
    • Expertise in reviewing at least one compliance application.

    Additional Requirements:

    • Willingness to work in Night shift.
    • Willingness to extend and/or weekend working during business exigencies.
    • Flexible to work from office or home, as per requirement.
