Job Brief

Mortgage Software Product Manager – “Product and Mortgage Experience a must”.
We’re looking for a Mortgage Software Product Manager who will play a pivotal role in the future of our company. Our Mortgage Software Product Manager will be responsible for the vision and development of one of our Genius products within our Genius product suite. You’ll be managing product specialists, and business analysts, collaborating with the marketing and support teams, as well as providing the overall vision for the product roadmap.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Mentor, lead, and support the product organization, including product managers, product specialists, and support team members.
  • Product planning and assignment of tasks and deliverables via sprint planning.
  • Product lifecycle management from concept to launch of the product(s) across a product/product line.
  • Lead, define, represent and communicate product strategy to all stakeholders.
  • Assess product development sprints and enhancement opportunities.
  • Assist with development of budgets, forecasts, and metrics.
  • Deliver and help develop the Product Roadmap.
  • Own the development and delivery of the product roadmap and communicate with executive level staff and other stakeholders.
  • Define competitive positioning for each product.
  • Drive innovative ideas, solutions, and products through leadership and decisive action.
  • Build incredible teams and processes to deliver products that satisfy the needs of customers.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a software product leader in an agile environment
  • Mortgage experience is required. (Underwriting experience is a plus!)
  • Experience delivering a product roadmap is required
  • Able to formulate and implement global strategies for products
  • Proactively initiates product and organization improvements
  • Customer-centric mindset with the capability of translating that into the product development process
  • Successfully implemented data-driven processes to turn a vision into an actionable roadmap
  • People leader with demonstrated success in leading and mentoring product and support teams
  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail
  • Understand the user experience and design
  • Direct experience with mortgage software is desired
  • Able to distill product roadmaps into digestible and relevant presentations to key customers and partners
  • Drive product analytics to understand feature usage, comprehension, and optimization
  • Excellent verbal and oral communication skills
