Job Description

We’re looking for a Mortgage Software Product Manager who will play a pivotal role in the future of our company. Our Mortgage Software Product Manager will be responsible for the vision and development of one of our Genius products within our Genius product suite. You’ll be managing product specialists, , collaborating with the marketing and support teams, as well as providing the overall vision for the product roadmap.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Mentor, lead, and support the product organization, including product specialists and support team members.
  • Product planning and assignment of tasks and deliverables via sprint planning.
  • Product lifecycle management from concept to launch of the product(s) across a product/product line.
  • Lead, define, represent and communicate product strategy to all stakeholders.
  • Assess product development sprints and enhancement opportunities.
  • Deliver and help develop the Product Roadmap.
  • Own the development and delivery of the product roadmap and communicate with executive level staff and other stakeholders.
  • Drive innovative ideas, solutions and products through leadership and decisive action.
  • Build incredible teams and processes to deliver products that satisfy the needs of customers.
  • Willingness to lead “from the trenches” and “get your hands dirty,” as needed, to fully understand the process and all team members’ roles.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience as a software product leader in an agile environment.
  • Mortgage experience is required. (If you’ve ever worked in an operations, quality control, or underwriting role, this is a plus!)
  • Excellent communication skills including verbal and written.
  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience delivering a product roadmap is required.
  • Proactive approach towards product and organization improvements.
  • Customer-centric mindset with the capability of translating that into the product development process.
  • Experience with industry loan origination systems is a plus.
  • People leader with demonstrated success in leading and mentoring product and support teams.
  • Understand the user experience and design.
  • Direct experience with document automation initiatives, such as machine learning, is a plus.
  • Able to distill product roadmaps into digestible and relevant presentations to key customers and partners.
