Security Engineer
Job Brief
We are seeking a skilled Security Engineer with expertise in antivirus platform management. The candidate will be responsible for optimizing and enhancing policies for tools like Trend Deep Security, APEX One, VISION One, XDR, and CrowdStrike. This role involves analyzing existing policies, recommending optimizations, and supporting the daily operations of antivirus solutions.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Review and analyze existing AV/Anti-Malware policies and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Enhance policies to optimize the usage and performance of AV platforms.
- Identify and address opportunities to reduce issues with AV platforms.
- Design effective and efficient AV policies.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of existing policies and recommend adjustments as needed.
- Assist with the day-to-day operations of antivirus tools.
- Develop processes and workflows to support AV solutions effectively.
- Maintain Trend Micro security and CrowdStrike environments at optimal performance and compliance standards.
- Identify and implement technical and process improvements for the environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience managing AV platforms.
- At least 1 year of experience in AV platform deployment and policy optimization.
- Hands-on experience with configuring and resolving complex security issues in enterprise environments with geographically dispersed endpoints/servers.
- In-depth knowledge of Trend Deep Security, Trend Micro Apex One, VISION One, XDR, and CrowdStrike Antivirus, including modules like Antivirus/Antimalware, IPS, endpoint protection, and machine learning.
- Strong understanding of Active Directory groups.
- Proficiency with Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Experience with Host-Based Intrusion Prevention Systems (HIPS).
- Extensive experience with Trend Deep Security policy management.
- Flexibility to work in rotational shifts.
