Trailing Docs – Supervisor

Are you a dynamic and organized professional with a knack for leading teams and delivering exceptional customer service? Indecomm is seeking a skilled Supervisor for our Trailing Docs department. In this role, you will manage daily workflow processes, supervise team members, and ensure top-notch customer service while maintaining accuracy and compliance.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Conduct formal reviews and inspections of trailing loan documents, ensuring accuracy and completeness within designated time frames. Capture required data elements in the application.
- Follow up on pending documents through phone or email communication.
- Record (check-in) received documents and comments in the database. Monitor reports to track outstanding documents, perform audits, and manage filing and retrieval activities.
- Oversee and guide Trailing Docs team members, serving as the primary trainer for new staff.
- Monitor project progress, manage deliverables, and collaborate with other departments as needed.
- Track daily production and work activity, optimizing team capacity utilization.
- Document and manage project issues, escalating when necessary.
- Prepare and deliver reports/presentations for client and internal reviews.
Requirements
- High School Graduate or General Education Diploma (GED). Post High school Degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 1 year of related experience in handling Trailing Docs.
- Minimum of 1 year of prior management or supervisory experience.
- Experience from a Title Agency, Lender, or National Vendor Management company (local or national title and settlement companies) is preferred.
- Comprehensive understanding of Trailing Docs procedures and mortgage documents.
- Proficient in MS Office applications, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Quick learner when working with new applications/platforms.
- Strong time management skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to interact effectively with clients, working independently with minimal supervision.
- Proficient in training and managing personnel, while fostering a cohesive team environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Practical knowledge of standard procedures for mortgage/title company transactions.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams across diverse global settings.
