Job Brief
Assist key Client in overseeing and managing the daily operations of the Loan Servicing change management program. Responsible for interacting with various lines of business within Servicing, and ensuring operational controls—such as policies, procedures, borrower letters and scripting—are updated timely and comply with GSE, FHA, USDA, VA and Private Mortgage Insurer requirements. Key responsibilities include:
Roles & Responsibilities
- Monitor investor, agency and MI publications for policy updates to mortgage loan servicing guidelines.
- Consult with the impacted division(s) on changes to company guidelines in response to those changes.
- Manage the distribution and publication of notifications to internal staff regarding guideline changes related to loan servicing.
- Review mortgage servicing control support which could include, policies and procedures, workflows, reporting, and provide suggested edits, as needed.
- Gather, investigate, and review additional information and conduct research as necessary, to ensure compliance with Agency requirements.
- Perform post implementation reviews.
- Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
- Demonstrate behaviours aligned with the organization’s desired culture and values.
Requirements
- Thorough knowledge of mortgage servicing operations, policy and regulatory oversight
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be highly proficient in Google Suite, Excel, and Word
- Must be a team player with strong attention to detail and able to work independently
- Proven track record at delivering timely and accurate information in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent critical thinking, problem solving, mathematical skills and sound judgment
- Strong business acumen and ability to interface with executive management
- Technical writing experience is a plus
